The old gentleman Clink, a longtime resident of Kendallvllle and vicinity, passed away Saturday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Beveridge, in Cresco, where he has made his home for some time. The funeral occurred yesterday.

Death of Joseph Clink.
Joseph Clink was born in Kenross, Scotland, October 15, 1822, and passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Beveridge, in Cresco, April 28, 1906.
He was married to Jeanie Stewart in 1835. They came to America in 1859, settling in Rock county, Wisconsin. In 1870 the family came to Iowa, locating near Kendallville, which has since been their home.
Twelve children were born to this union, four of whom died in childhood. Those living are: David K., of Chicago; Mrs. W. M. Warburton of Milford; Mrs. J. H. Warburton of Riceville; Mrs. Margaret Beveridge of Cresco; Mrs. Nettie Kendall, John S., William A., all of Kendallville, and Catherine C. of Ripple, Minn.
Rev. Gammons conducted the funeral services at the home of his daughter in Cresco, on Monday afternoon, April 30. The remains were taken to Kendallville for interment.
