Mrs. W. H. Tillson Dead.
Mrs. W. H. Tillson, whose illness we had mentioned, passed away at 9 o’clock yesterday morning, after a long illness. For some time it has been thought impossible for her to recover. She leaves as immediate relatives a husband, two little children, and father, C, W. Burdick, of Decorah. The funeral will be from the residence at 2 o’clock tomorrow afternoon. Burial in Oak Lawn.

OBITUARY.
TILLSON.
Allie S. Burdick, daughter {of} C. W. Burdick, of Decorah, was born in that town January 10, 1868, and died Nov. 9. 1905, aged 37 years, 9 months and 29 days. May 8, 1895, she was untied in marriage to Wm. H. Tillson, at Decorah, she and her husband establishing their home in Cresco where they have ever since resided To this union was born two children, a girl and a boy. In addition to the husband and children, she leaves as immediate relatives to mourn her loss, a father, a grand mother, Mrs. Violetta McMutrie of Monrovia, California, and three aunts, Mrs. Hattie Pike and Mrs. Fannie Hawlay of Decorah and Mrs. Theo R. Crandell, of Monrovia, Cal.
The deceased never allied herself with the membership of any church, but possessed a christian character, which showed its best expression in her daily life. Before her marriage she was a regular attendant of the M. E. church, but after coming to Cresco attended the Congregational church.
The funeral was held at the residence on Saturday afternoon at 2 p. m., Rev. J. A. Eakin officiating, and the loved form was laid at rest in Oak Lawn cemetery. The Tuesday Club of which Mrs. Tillson was a member, attended in a body. The floral offerings were profuse and handsome, mutely eloquent memorials of the lute and respect felt by the givers for the deceased,
The husband, children, father and other relatives who so deeply mourn her 1 >88, have the sincere sympathy of all their acquaintances and wish for them an out pouring of the balm of the loving-kindness of God which alone can ease the pain of the wound that time alone can partially heal.
