Bad Accident! - Boy Killed!
We learn that a sad accident occurred a week ago last Tuesday, in Sumner township, about four miles west of the Turkey river, by which Francis Vallenta, a lad of 14 years of age, was killed, - In taking a horse to water he twisted the halter around his wrist. The horse got scared and threw him, and by so doing
got scared still more. He ran, where, it was not ascertained, dragging the boy by the wrist after him. In about a half-an- hour the horse was found by the stable, the lad lying by his side - dead. The boy’s head and side were crushed where the horse had trampled on them, and, above the waist, the body was one mass of bruises.
