Resolutions of Respect
Whereas, the great leveler of time, in his Providence, has taken from our number our worthy and much esteemed Brother, Joel Califf, whose memory we revere and whose loss we now deplore, therefore,
Resolved, that in him society has lost one her best citizens; his wife a kind and affectionate husband; his family an exemplary and indulgent parent; and the fraternity one of her noblest and principal supporters.
Resolved, that the sympathies of this Lodge are due, and are hereby extended to the widow and family of our deceased Brother.
Resolved, that the secretary of this lodge is authorized to have the above published in the Decorah Republic, and a copy of the same presented to the family of our deceased Brother.
