OBITUARY.
LUROS.
Hannah Anderson Luros was born in Orleans township, Winnesheik{sic} county, Iowa, Dec. 26, 1870. She was the daughter of Anon Anderson and Caroline. At an early age she lost her mother. She was brought up and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. May 11, 1892, she was married to Theodore A. Luros, now a prosperous banker or Cary, N. D. This union was blessed with only one child, a boy who is now about 11 years old. Mrs. Luros had not been in good health for some time. The latter part of February she came to Decorah, where she was taken violently ill with peritonitis. She recovered, however, and was able to return to her home in N. D. But the doctors said that an abcess had formed, for which an operation might be necessary. She submitted to this operation, but died the same day, March 31.
The remains were brought to the old home in Winneshiek county, and were laid to rest in the family plot by the Orleans church. Services were conducted by Rev. Otterson, pastor of Orleans Norwegian Luth. church. A quartet from Cresco, consisting of Mesdames Gillespie and White and Messrs. Patterson and Burgess, with Mrs. Clyde Mitchell at the organ, assisted in the services.
