Mrs. Allen, of Garnavillo, Iowa, a sister of Mrs. Stockman and E. E. Eddy, died at a Chicago hospital last week and was brought here last Friday for interment in the Eddy cemetery.

Mrs. Juliette Allyn, whose maiden; name was Eddy, died at the Monroe hospital in Chicago, August 12, 1901. She was born on The Isle La Motte, Vermont, June 24, 1841, and married December 11, 1865 to William Allyn near Cresco, and immediately moved {to}Garnavillo where she made her home. The funeral occurred at Garnavillo August the 15th, interment being in the Eddy cemetery near Kendallvillc, to rest beside kindred dust. She leaves a husband and three children to, mourn a loving mother and a faithful wife.
