Services held for Walter Sunday
Funeral services for Walter Sunday of Modesto CA, formerly of Decorah, were held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 30 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Calmar with Rev. Harvey Abrahamson officiating. Interment was in Calmar City Cemetery. Schluter Balik Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
Walter, 74, died Monday, March 25, 2002 at the Doctors Medical Center in Modesto following a sudden illness.
He is survived by one daughter: Leslie Peele of Charlotte, NC; two sons: Mark of Tucson, AZ and David of Huntington Beach, CA; and two sisters: Norma Costa of Modesto and Elaine Lowry of Decorah.
