Funeral services for Geneva Kuntz of Minneapolis were held at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 22 at the Lindstrom Funeral Home in Cresco. Interment was in Ridgeway Cemetery.
Geneva, 93, died Thursday, October 17, 2002.
Geneva Kuntz, the daughter of Charles and Ella (Butz) Beucher, studied for a year at Iowa State Teachers College, now the University of Northern Iowa before teaching in a small country school.
On September 23, 1931 she married George Kuntz at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. They resided on a rural Ridgeway farm for over 50 years . She was an active homemaker, 4-H leader, and church member before retiring to Cresco.
She is survived by two daughters: Janelle Vaubel and Laurel Sellers; one son: Darrell; four grandchildren; step-grandchildren, and greatgrandchildren.
