NEW HAMPTON - Donna Mae Holthaus, 63, New Hampton, died Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2001 at the
Comprehensive Systems Group Home of an apparent heart attack.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 20 at St. Mary Catholic Church, New Hampton with Rev. Carl Schmitt presiding.
Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, New Hampton with her nephews as pallbearers.
Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19 at Hugeback Funeral Home, New Hampton where there will be a 4 p.m. Rosary and 7:30 p.m. Parish Scripture Service.
Donna was born in Ossian on April 11, 1938, the daughter of Herman J. and Pauline M. (Bohr) Holthaus. She attended St. Mary's School in New Hampton and lived with her parents. Her father, Herman, died in 1965 and her mother Pauline in 1985. Following the death of her mother, she lived for a brief time with her family until she became a resident of Comprehensive Systems in New Hampton on March 2, 1987. Donna was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in New Hampton. She enjoyed playing with her nieces, nephews and other children.
Survivors include one brother, Jim (Arlene) Holthaus, New Hampton; two sisters, Phyllis (Tom) Mitchell, Hawkeye and Grace (Don) Arens, Lawler; numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents and two sisters, Clarice Glaser and Bernice Holthaus in infancy.
