FORT ATKINSON -Lois Hageman, 54, rural Fort Atkinson, died Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2001 at her home following a long illness.
Funeral Services were Saturday, Dec. 29 at 11 a.m. at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Calmar, with Rev. Donald Hawes officiating.
Burial was in St. Aloysius Catholic Cemetery, Calmar.
Visitation was Friday, Dec. 28 at the French Chapel in Calmar from 3 to 8 p.m., with a Rosary at 3 p.m. and a Prayer Service at 7:30 p.m. and also on Saturday after 10 a.m. at the church.
Survivors include her husband, Lester; two sons, Mark (Tina) Hageman, Calmar and Steven Hageman, at home; four brothers, Art Bohr, New Hampton, John (Sheila) Bohr, Waterloo, Luke (Kathleen) Bohr, Decorah and LeRoy (Shirley) Bohr, Ossian; two sisters, Lucy (Tony) Schissel, New Hampton and Sister Janet Bohr OSF, Dyersville; her mother-in-law, Agnes Hageman, Fort Atkinson; five sisters-in-law, Marilyn Bohr, Ossian; Lorrena Bohr, Waucoma, Annette (Bohr) (Carl) Wiltgen, Ossian, Mary (Dave) Junko, Decorah and Lou Pavlovec, Fort Atkinson; two brothers-in-law, Linus (Diane) Hageman and Merle (Darlene) Hageman, both of Fort Atkinson; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents; three sisters, Clarita, Sister Norma Jean OSF and Luella Rose; three brothers, Carl, Mark and Kenneth Bohr; two sisters-in-law, Janice and Francis Bohr and her father-in-law, Norbert Hageman.

Lois Hageman, 54, services held
Funeral services for Lois Hageman of rural Fort Atkinson were held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 29 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Calmar with Rev. Donald Hawes officiating. Interment was in St. Aloysius Catholic Cemetery in Calmar. Pallbearers were: Art Bohr, LeRoy Bohr, Merle Hageman, John Bohr, Tony Schissel, Linus Hageman, Luke Bohr, Dave Junko, and Karl Wiltgen. Schluter-Balik Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
Lois, 54, died Wednesday, December 26, 2001 at her home following a long illness.
Lois Ann Hageman was born March 8, 1947 in Decorah, the daughter of John and Anna (Heying) Bohr. She graduated from St. Francis DeSales Catholic School in Ossian in 1965 and then worked for the Ossian Senior Hospice as a nurse’s aide.
On August 12, 1972 she married Lester Hageman at St. Francis DeSales Catholic Church. They farmed near the Calmar and Fort Atkinson areas.
She enjoyed collecting dolls, playing cards, polka music, and traveling.
Lois was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, the Rosary Society and the South Winn. Golf Course.
She is survived by her husband Lester of Fort Atkinson; two sons: Mark of Calmar and Steven at home; four brothers: Art of New Hampton, John of Waterloo, Luke of Decorah, and LeRoy of Ossian; and two sisters: Lucy Schissel of New Hampton and Sister Janet Bohr, OSF of Dyersville.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters: Clarita, Sister Norma Jean, OSF and Luella Rose; and three brothers: Carl, Mark and Kenneth.
