Miss Ruth Barker, who has been suffering from tuberculosis for a long time, passed away at Freeport on Monday afternoon, at the age of sixteen years, and the funeral services are being held this Wednesday afternoon at one o'clock, from the Freeport church, Rev. Dr. M. Willett officiating. Her parents have both preceded her, and she leaves one sister, Miss Nellie, and two brothers, Byron and Harry, who have the sincere sympathy of all in their bereavement.
