Old Resident Passes Away

Mr. Martin Hanson, a resident of Decorah for fifty years, passed away at two o'clock yesterday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. A. T. Vick, after an illness extending over fourteen months, at the advanced age of 89 years. His wife died about ten years ago. Mr. Hanson followed the trade of brick mason here for a good many years, but of late has been with his son, Frank north of the city, engaged in gardening. He leaves four sons and two daughters to mourn his death. The funeral services will be held tomorrow (Thursday) afternoon at two o'clock, from Synod Lutheran Church.
