CLARK—At her home near Castalia, Winneshiek county, Iowa, Mrs. Laura Bush Clark, aged nearly 84 years.
Laura Bush was born August 2, 1812, in Chautauqua county, New York, and was married to Andrew Clark, April 1st 1830. They came to Wis. in 1846, and to Iowa in 1858. She was the mother of ten children, seven of whom are living; twenty-four grand children and eleven great-grand children.
She survived her husband six years, he having died January 12,1890, aged 83 years. She early became a Christian and her faith in a living Savior remained unchanged.
