Ole Peterson Lonar died at Aase Haugen Home Monday night. He suffered a stroke the previous Friday. He was 85 years old. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the Haugen home. Relatives from Allamakee county are expected to attend the services. Burial will be in the cemetery at the Home.

Ole Peterson Lonar was born in Norway, Feb. 18, 1849, the son of Peter Kittlesby and Anna Ambrose. He came to this country when a young boy and was a thresher throughout this section and in Canada. He was never married. He came to the Aase Haugen Home in 1916.
