Miss Kari Klemetsrud died Sunday morning at the Aase Haugen Home. She was 77 years old and had been crippled for almost 60 years as a result of a spine injury received when she was about 18 years old.

The funeral was held at 9:30 this (Wednesday) morning. Her brother, Herman and his daughter, Thelma, from Nora Springs, Iowa, attended the services. Miss Klemetsrud had lived in the Aase Haugen Home for the past five years

Kari Klemetsrud was born May 27, 1857, in Norway, the daughter of Sivart Herman Klemestsrud and Gertrude Lein Klemetsrud. She came to this country about 70 years ago and lived near Osage. She was a member of the Lutheran church. Burial will be in the Aase Haugen Home cemetery.
