Loretta P. Maroushek age 88 of Harmony, MN died Thursday, Jan 17, 2013, at the Harmony Community Healthcare Center in Harmony. Memorial services will be held Friday, Jan 25 at 2:00 pm at the Lindstrom Funeral Home in Harmony with Fr. Shawn Haremza officiating. Inurnment will be later in the St. Wenceslaus Cemetery in Spillville, IA. Loretta Pauline Maroushek was born October 24, 1924 on a farm south of Ridgeway IA, the daughter of Joseph J and Emma (Samec) Soukup. She married Joseph John Maroushek in 1942 and had 7 children. They later divorced. Survivors include three children, Stanley ‘Slim’ (Anna Jane) Maroushek of Harmony, Robert (Phyllis) Maroushek of Decorah, IA and Donna (Don) Clausen of Joliett, IL; a brother Leonard Soukup of Ridgeway, IA; 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Loretta was preceded in death by her parents; 2 sons, Rick Ariens and Clarence Maroushek; two infant daughters, Shirley and Betty Maroushek; an infant granddaughter, Joan Maroushek; and a sister, Irene Hron.
