usan "Sue" (Peterson) Stone, 56, of Albuquerque, NM, formerly of Cresco, IA passed away peacefully on April 28, 2011 in Albuquerque, NM.

Sue was born on May 7, 1954 in Madison, WI to Calvin and Genevieve (Yngsdahl) Peterson. She attended college in Rochester, MN, Northern Michigan University, Mid-America in Kansas City, and the University of New Mexico. She worked for several years as a personal banker for Bank of America. On October 27, 1984 she married Carl "Tex" Stone in Albuquerque, NM. She enjoyed flowers, sewing, reading, and Bible studies.

Sue is survived by her husband, Carl "Tex" Stone of Albuquerque, NM, her mother Gen Peterson of Cresco, IA, a sister, Anne (Gary) Landswerk of Spring Valley, MN, a brother, James (Janet) Peterson of Fayetteville, NC, and a brother, Robert (Cindy) of Denver, CO.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Alice & Alvin Peterson and Marvin and Viola Yngsdahl, and her father Cal in 2006.

Cemetery:
Burial will be in the Freemont Cemetery in rural Cresco, Iowa

Visitation:
One hour prior to services at the church

Service:
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Congregation Church in Cresco, IA.
