Franklin, Carolyn (Larson-Sheetz) Of Edina, born April 29, 1934, passed away on October 7th after a six year battle with cancer. Preceded in death by parents, Selmer & Florence Larson & daughter- in-law, Cynthia Wright. Survived by husband, William Franklin; children, Mark Sheetz, Kevin (Fiancee Julie Howard) Sheetz, Jim (Shelly) Sheetz, Jeff (Ann) Sheetz, Ann Marie (Steve) Coulter; grandchildren, Jennifer, Michael, Ryan, Andrew, Autumn, Luke, Katie, Nina, Matthew & Jason. Carolyn was born & raised in Decorah, Iowa, relocated to Mpls. with husband Thomas Sheetz & family where they joined The Church of The Visitation. Carolyn was an active member of the parish school & church, served on the VCCW board, many guilds, & was a choir member for over 40 years. Was married to William Franklin for 26 years & resided in Edina. Carolyn thoroughly enjoyed working at her children's family businesses & spending time with her family & friends. Memorial service will be held Wednesday, October 10th, 2 PM with visitation one hour prior at The Church of The Visitation, 4530 Lyndale Ave. So., Mpls, MN 55409.
