Graveside services for Ruth I. (Rasmussen) McKim, 75, of Palos Heights, Ill. were held Wednesday, July 31, at 1 p.m. at the Lutheran Cemetery in Decorah.

Mrs. McKim died July 27 in Palos Heights. Officiating clergyman was Pastor Glenn L. Borreson. Steine's Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Ruth I. Rasmussen was born Aug. 7, 1910, in Decorah, the daughter of Lars and Dena (Thorsen) Rasmussen. She graduated from Decorah Senior High School in 1929 and married Charles W. McKim in Chicago, Ill., on July 2, 1932. She had made her home in Palos Heights for 33 years.

Mrs. McKim was a member of the Lutheran Church and was baptized and confirmed at First Lutheran Church in 1923.

Survivors include her husband Charles; one son, Robert C. McKim of Beverly Hills, Calif.; four grandchildren; one brother, Elmer Rasmussen of Manchester, Ia.; and one sister, Jean Dayton of Treasure Island, Fla.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters.
