Linda Waits, age 69, of Decorah, IA, died on Wednesday, August 3, 2016, at the Winneshiek Medical Center in Decorah, IA.

Visitation will be held from 3:00-6:00 p.m., on Tuesday, August 9, 2016, at the Decorah Lutheran Church, 309 Winnebago Street, Decorah, IA. Burial will be in the Lutheran Cemetery, Decorah, IA.

The Schluter – Balik Funeral Home in Decorah is handling the arrangements.

Linda is survived by her son: John Daniels, Ossian, IA, and Susan (Alan) Balik, Ft. Atkinson, IA. Five grandchildren: Emily Daniels, Autumn Florek, Mitch, Dave and Kyle Balik. Brothers and sisters: Ron (Jill) Dehning, Postville, IA; Daryl (Pam) Dehning, Calmar, IA; Denise (Gary) Balik, Calmar, IA; Lowell Dehning, Ossian, IA; and Alan (Rhonda) Dehning, Cresco, IA, along with many nieces and nephews.

Linda was preceded in death by her father: Bernell Dehning.
