Allen Frana, known to many as "Animal", age 56, of Lawler, IA, formerly of Calmar, IA died Monday, May 23, 2016 at the Mercy Medical Center in New Hampton, IA.

Allen Paul Frana was born on January 14, 1960, the son of Ermin and Wilma (Koudelka) Frana. He was married once and to this union a daughter, Chelsey was born. Allen spent his life as a truck driver. When he wasn’t on the road, he could be found playing cards or relaxing with his friends and family.

Allen is survived by his daughter: Chelsey (Curtis) Rasing, Lawler, IA. His mother: Wilma Frana of Decorah, IA; Siblings: Marge Taylor, Onalaska, WI; Julie Frana, Plymouth, MN; Gene Frana, Calmar, IA; Tony Frana, Ridgeway, IA; Jeff (Karen) Frana, Shakopee, MN; Bruce (Kelli) Frana, St. Louis, MO.. One sister-in-law: Lora Frana, St. Paul, MN. Two aunts: Verneal Koudelka, Cresco, IA, and Georgina Frana, Edina, MN. Three uncles: Jerome (Lois) Frana, Ossian, IA; Marcelline Frana, Charles City, IA; and Julius Frana, Ft. Atkinson, IA. and nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews

Allen was preceded in death by his father: Ermin Frana on August 28, 2004. Two brothers: Ron and Brian Frana. Aunts and uncles: William Koudelka, Martha and Viola Frana, George, Leonard, Adolph, Stanley and Art Frana.

Allen's wishes were to be cremated and to not have any formal funeral services.
