Decorah- Services for Anslie B. Robinson, 93, were conducted from the Winneshiek funeral home and at the Methodist church. Burial was in Phelps cemetery. The Rev. Floyd H. Weed officiated.
Born April 28, 1854, in Rockford, Ill., he came to Iowa with his parents, Herber and Cynthia Robinson, the same year. Their home was made in Glenwood township. In 1876 he married Lima Miller. Three children were born to them, Jennie (Mrs. F. E. Bollman), of Caldwell, Idaho; Guy V. Robinson, of Anoka, Minn., and J. A. Robinson, of Freeport, at whose home he died Friday after two month's illness.
He is also survived by two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Martha Rook, of Minneapolis.
Until his retirement he farmed and was a carpenter. He was a member of Winneshiek lodge No. 58, IOOF, and served as secretary of the Freeport school board for 20 years.
NOTE: The gravestone shows the spelling of the first name as Ansle.
