Decorah- Mathilda Halvorson, 94, a former Ridgeway area resident, died Saturday at a Decorah nursing home.

Survivors include four daughters, Alice Fretheim of Decorah; Valberg Vaala of Lawler; Thelma Swenson of Mable, Minn.; Helen Kjose of Cut Bank, Mont.; 18 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

Services: Thursday, 10:30 a.m., Peace Lutheran, Ridgeway, Iowa. Burial: Lincoln Cemetery, rural Ridgeway. Friends may call after noon Wednesday at Olson-Fjelstul's.
