HERB KLISART
Ossian, Ia.—Funeral services for Herb Klisart, 55, who was fatally hurt in a farm accident near here, were held at St. Francis de Sales Catholic church Friday morning. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. M. J. Thiltgen officiated at the church, while the Rev. Donald Weydert said the prayers at the graveside in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers were Henry A. Dessel, Joseph F. Dessel, Richard Becker, Alphonse Wiltgen, Lester Kipp, and Cyrill Figge.
Mr. Klisart was born in Ossian on Feb. 22, 1892, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Klisart. After completing his studies at the De Sales High school he began working in his father’s hardware store. After the latter retired, he and his brother Gus, took over the business, conducting it since.
In 1914 he was married to Miss Kathryn Lansing, who survives with two sons, Hareld Klisart and Robert Klisart; one daughter, Bernice Klisart; all of Ossian; his parents. two brothers, Gus of Ossian and Leander Klisart, of Duluth, Minn., and three sisters Celia and Savina, of Ossian, and Mrs. Harold (Rose) Frederick, Strawberry Point.
