Harry D. Yager, Calmar Courier Editor, Is Dead

Important Community Worker Given Military Funeral Services.

Harry D. Yager, editor of the Calmar Courier passed away Friday, April 29, at the Veteran’s hospital in Des Moines, following a several week’s illness.

The remains were brought to his home in Calmar Saturday and a military funeral was held at the home Monday with burial in the City Cemetery. Rev. R. G. Isenberger of Decorah officiated.
