Mrs. Benj. Huber Died Monday at Rochester, Minn.

Calmar:--Mrs. Benjamin Huber, 51 years old, for many years associated with her husband in the operation of the Huber Hatchery, died at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, Minn., late Monday, following an operation, according to word received here. She had been a patient at the Rochester hospital for a week or so. She had been ill two months.

Born in St. Paul, Minn., in October of 1891 as Angela Mary Beckman, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Beckman. She came to Winneshiek county with her parents when a girl of about 7 years of age and attended schools in Festina, Iowa.

On February 16, 1915 she was married to Benjamin T. Huber at St. Aloysius Church in Calmar.

For the past ten years or more she has been actively engaged in the operation of the Huber Hatchery which she and her husband owned and operated. She had studied at Charles City and other places to learn the care of poultry.

Mrs. Huber is survived by her husband and six children: Sister Mary Estelle of Colby, Wis.; Estelle, Serathia, Angela, Lorraine and James Edward. Another son, John Benjamin is dead. A brother, Frank Beckman, also survives.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 9:30 A. M. at St. Aloysius Catholic church with Rev. Father Peikert officiating.
