MARTIN OLSON

Decorah, Ia.,--Special: Funeral services for Martin Olson, 73, were held Tuesday afternoon at the Hesper Lutheran church. The Rev. Iver Havneros, pastor, officiated, and burial was in the Hesper Lutheran cemetery. Mr. Olson died Saturday at the Decorah hospital.

He was born Dec. 8, 1871, in Wsiconsin,{sp} a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Anton Olson. On Feb. 13, 18(?)7, he married Anna Kjelsverg, in Decorah, and they became the parents of one son, Arnold, who lives on the home farm near Burr Oak.

Besides his wife and son, he is also survived by five brothers and one sister, Albert, Avoca, Wis., Sam, Louis, and Ed, all of Bear Valley, Wis., Chris, Hill Point, Wis., and Mrs. George Finnegan, Madison, Wis. Three other brothers preceded him in death.

Mr. Olson located in Winneshiek county in 1912.
