Castalia- Samuel A. Hunter, 79, died at his home here Tuesday. He was born in New York state, but came to this county with his parents at the age of three years. He had been a resident of this community for 76 years. In 1878 he was married to Martha Riggs, who survives with three children, Mrs. Edith M. Windell, Glen, Cal.; Roy A. Hunter, Ossian, and Mrs. Edna Howie Downing, Oelrich, S.D.

Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at the U. B. church, Rev. H. Dirks officiating.
