Decorah- The funeral of Miss Eda Johnson was held on Sunday. Rev. Paul Koren officiated, and burial was made in Phelps cemetery, Decorah. Miss Johnson died Thursday.

Deceased was born Sept. 21, 1877, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Johnson. She was educated in Albert Lea, Minn., Valders college, Decorah, and Qu'ncy, Ill. She had been an invalid for 36 years.

Miss Johnson is survived by her father, who is one of the few Civil War veterans of Winneshiek county, who has reached the age of 91 years. She is also survived by two brothers, John and Alfred, and three sisters, Anna, Christina and Mrs. Irving Johnson.

Note: Cemetery records show her first name was spelled Ida.
