Decorah- Services were Tuesday at the Congregational church for Alex H. McIntosh, 72, who died Saturday after a brief illness. The Rev. Frank Callender officiated and burial was in Phelps cemetery.

McIntosh was born Sept. 10, 1876 on a farm in Madison township, the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. McIntosh. He married Myrtle Tavener Aug. 3, 1902. They engaged in farming until a few years ago when they moved to Decorah, where Mrs. McIntosh died in 1941.

Surviving is a daughter, Miss Mildred McIntosh.
