Decorah- Robert Jones, 76, died Monday, Jan. 11, 1999, in Winneshiek County Hospital after a short illness. Memorial services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday, French & Balik Funeral Home, Decorah, by the Rev. Paul Hougen. There will be no visitation. His body was cremated.

Survivors include two sons, Curt of Decorah and Doug of Portland, Ore.; a daughter, Julie Atwood of Seattle; a brother, John of Maquoketa; and a sister, Betty Haling of Hayward, Wis.
