Calmar- Services for Mrs. Anna Hovey, 89, will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the French Funeral Home and at 2 p.m. in the Calmar Lutheran church. Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery.

Mrs. Hovey died Tuesday in a Decorah hospital. She was born in Calmar April 20, 1866, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Peterson. She was married Dec. 8, 1887, to Samuel Hovey.

The couple lived in North Dakota on a farm until 1926. Since then she had lived in Calmar. Mr. Hovey died in 1927.

Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Will Eaton of Glasgow, Mont.; a son, Elmer Hovey of Encinitas, Calif.; seven grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, four sisters and three brothers.
