FUNERAL TO BE THURSDAY FOR FREDERICK T. EINCK

Funeral services for Frederick T. Einck, 27, who was killed by a bolt of lightning Monday afternoon while assisting with threshing near Decorah, will be held Thursday morning at 9:30 o'clock in St. Benedict's Catholic church in Decorah with the Rev. M. E. Nolan officiating. Interment will be in St. Francis De Sales cemetery at Ossian.

Mr. Einck and a group of threshers had taken shelter under the eaves of a barn during the storm when the lightning struck.

The deceased is a son-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Meland of this city. He married Irene Meland in May, 1935, and the couple have one son, Daryl, aged three years. He followed the carpenter's trade at Decorah, but this summer was helping farmers during the grain harvesting.
