HOLD RITES FOR MRS. H. MELAND

Word has been received by Mr. and Mrs. Peter Meland of the death of their daughter-in-law, Mrs. Harold Meland in Sitka, Alaska.

Mrs. Meland died Christmas Day, following a brief illness. Funeral services were held Thursday, December 28, in Sitka.

She was the former Lorraine Flaskerud of Calmar. Survivors include her husband, Senator Harold Meland, a son David, Seattle, Washington; one sister, Verna, Austin, Minnesota and one brother, Ahlert "Bud" of Calmer.
