SERVICES HELD FOR MRS. A. CAMPBELL

Funeral services for Mrs. Albert Campbell were held in Schutte's Chapel Saturday, April 3, 1971, at 1:30 p.m. with the Reverend Dick Harberts officiating.

Janet Elizabeth Caldow, daughter of Adam and Elizabeth Burton Caldow, was born February 15, 1880, in Dane County, Wisconsin. The family lived in Wisconsin until Janet was 10 years old when they moved to the Caldow Farm north of Castalia. Janet received her education in rural schools.

She was married to Albert Roy Campbell April 12, 1905. They farmed near and around Castalia until retirement, then moved to Postville about eight years ago. For the last five years, she has lived with her niece, Mrs. Freeman Alberts, in Decorah.

Mrs. Campbell passed away in her sleep on Wednesday, March 31, 1971, in Decorah at the home of her niece.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Roy, November 15, 1963. Also by six brothers: William, John, James, Robert, Peter and Archibald; and one sister: Mrs. Sarah Ann McIntosh.

There are no immediate family survivors. She does have many nieces and nephews and other relatives.

Interment was in the Postville Cemetery.
