Spillville, Ia. - Special:

The funeral of Charles Frey, 74, was held at the Lutheran Church here with burial in the Haug Cemetery. Mr. Frey died August 13, at the Decorah Hospital following a several month illness.

He was a lifelong resident of this vicinity.

Surviving are his widow, the former Bertha Heuser; two sons, Walter of this vicinity and Carl at home: one daughter, Mrs. Monroe Leuenberger of this vicinity; eight grandchildren; two sister, Mrs. Anna Heuser of Decorah and Mrs. Joseph Bookner, of Calmar; and one brother William of Cresco.

Two sisters and two brothers preceded him in death.
