Decorah- Mrs. Knut Hovden, 71, died Saturday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Selmer Usgaard, in Decorah; funeral on Wednesday at the Steine funeral home at 1:15 p.m. and at the Madison Lutheran church at 2, with burial in the church cemetery; nee Thea Severson, born Oct. 6, 1879, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Severson; on Jan. 27, 1904, she was married to Knut Hovden, who preceded her in death; four children, Mrs. Usgaard and Casper Hovden, Decorah; Mrs. Oran Heve/Hove, Ridgeway, and Mrs. Clifford Wangsness, Calmar.
