Decorah- William H. Madden, a former resident of Decorah and the last member of the Richard Madden family, early residents of Decorah, died Sept. 12 in a hospital at St. Paul.

The body was brought to Decorah Friday from St. Paul, where services were held earlier in the day, and interment was made in Phelps cemetery, where Mrs. Madden is buried. Rev. Daniel O'Sullivan officiated.
