Decorah- Mrs. Mary Ulen, 91, resident of Decorah 56 years, died Tuesday morning at her home here. Funeral services have been set, tentatively, for Thursday, in the Decorah Lutheran church, with burial in the Lutheran cemetery. The Rev. G. A. Sundby will officiate.

Mary Severson was born June 1, 1858, in Flaa, Hallingdal, Norway. When she was 15 she came to America with her parents. The family settled near Mason City, Ia. In 1876, in the chapel at Luther College, she was married to Ulen by the Rev. N. Brandt. Her husband preceded her in death 27 years ago.

Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Carrie Scribner, Montebello, Calif.; Marie Ulen, Mrs. Malena Benton and Leonard Olson, Decorah; Mrs. Stella Dain, Los Angeles; Carl Olson, La Crosse; and Olaf Ulen and Sever Olson, Mason City.
