Decorah- Funeral services for Mildred Clarissa Gilbertson, 31, were conducted Thursday at 1 from the Winneshiek Cooperative Burial Association parlors and later at the Madison Lutheran church, the Rev. M. B. Quill officiating. Burial was in the Madison cemetery.
She died Jan. 16, at Woodward, Ia. She was born July 15, 1918, at Brinsmaid, N.D., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Casper Gilbertson. She had been a victim of polio since she was nine years old.
Surviving are her father; three brothers, Orville, Norman and Gerald of Decorah; and four sisters, Mrs. John Thompson of Decorah, Mrs. Otto Hovden of Ridgeway, Mrs. Clarence Carlson of Wheatland, Ia., and Clara Gilbertson, Minneapolis.
