Decorah- Mrs. George H. Baker,69, died Friday, Feb. 10, in a hospital at Zion, Ill, following a heart attack.

Mrs. Baker, the former Cora Reed, was born Feb. __, 1881, at Burr Oak, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Luther Reed. She married George Baker March 31, 1909, in Chicago. After living in Decorah until 1939, the family moved to Waterloo and later to Waukegan, Ill.

She is survived by her husband and one son, Luther, of Minneapolis.

She was a member of Eastern Star, of which she was a past matron, of the Congregational church and the Fortnightly club. The Order of Eastern Star will conduct graveside rites.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday in the Congregational church at 2 p.m., the Rev. Frank L. Calledner officiating. Burial will be in Phelps cemetery.
