Decorah- Funeral services for Julius Woldt, 72, who died Monday in his room at the Peter Ness home, will be held Friday at the First Lutheran church in Decorah at 2 p.m.

Woldt was born on a farm on Washington Prairie in 1877, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Go_____ Woldt. He was an automobile salesman and a furniture dealer. He was a member of the Luren Singing Society, the oldest Scandinavian choral group in America, the Decorah Chamber of Commerce and the First Lutheran church. He was a lifelong resident of Winneshiek county.

He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Elma Thorson, Minneapolis.
