Mrs. Loyd (Ora Louise Schultz) Sampson
 
Mrs. Loyd Sampson, died suddenly Friday in the hospital at Decorah where she had been a patient for only a few hours after suffering a stroke. She was 57 years old.

Funeral services were conducted June 6, 1966 by the Rev. A. Duane Manson in the Ossian Lutheran church. Burial was in the Lutheran cemetery at Decorah.

As Miss Ora Louise Schultz, she was born June 20, 1908, near Castalia, a daughter of the late William and Elizabeth Schultz. She obtained an education by attending the rural schools near her home and the Frankville high school.

On November 29, 1934, she married Loyd A. Sampson, the ceremony being conducted in the Decorah Lutheran church parsonage.

They moved to Ossian shortly after their marriage and operated the Sampson cleaners for over 28 years. In 1963, they returned to Decorah to make their home.

Mrs. Sampson is survived by her husband; one brother, Lloyd Schultz of Postville; and four sisters, Mabel (Mrs. Emil Schultz) of Postville, Alia (Mrs. Al Borchardt) of Menasha, Wisconsin, Amanda (Mrs Vern Hupfer) of Monona, and Eileen (Mrs. Robert McGilligan) of Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
