Leona Schoonmaker Snyder, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Schoonmaker, was born in Frankville, February 6, 1900, and passed away Sunday, January 22, 1961, in the Linn county home. She is survived by one sister, Elma Meeker; and one brother, Ezra Schoonmaker, both of Frankville.

Graveside service was held Tuesday, January 24, in the Frankville Cemetery conducted by the Rev. W. T. Martin.

Leona Schoonmaker, daughter of Nels and Mary Schoonmaker, was born February 6, 1899, near Frankville. She was married to Otto Snyder, and five children were born to them, Marilyn, Gordon, Virginia, Joyce and Verna.

Because of ill health, she was taken to the Linn County Home, where she resided for several years and where she passed away on January 22, 1961.

Preceding her in death were her husband, parents and several sisters and brothers. Surviving are her five children, one sister, Mrs. Elma Meeker of Frankville, and one brother, Ezra Schoonmaker of Beloit, Wisconsin, and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services were held at the Frankville Cemetery on January 24, with the Rev. Walter Martin officiating.
