Pilot Grove Correspondence.

DIED--Hill, at her home in Lincoln township, Winneshiek Co., Saturday, Jan. 16, 1892, of pneumonia in connection with lagrippe, Mrs. Joseph Hill, aged about 40 years. On the following Tuesday the funeral was held in the new German church in the Butz neighborhood west of Ridgeway, the burial taking place in the church yard, the first grave dug in the yard. Mrs. Hill was a quiet, peaceable and truly domestic woman. She was the mother of nine children, several of them of tender age and one a babe of five months. In point of sadness no other condition attending death can compare with that of a parent being called from dear dependent little ones.
