Decorah- Adolph Milford Quam, 89, died Friday, Jan. 24, 2003, in Oneota Riverview Care Facility after a long illness. Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday, Madison Lutheran Church, by the Rev. Phil Olson and the Rev. Ginny Olson. Burial: Madison Lutheran Cemetery, rural Decorah. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday at Schluter-Balik Funeral Home, Decorah, and after 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
Survivors include five daughters, June Juve of Escondido, Calif., Shirley Dahlstrom of Colfax, Wash., Elsie Lewis of Landenberg, Pa., and Nancy Zweibohmer and Penny Mestad, both of Decorah; Seven sons, Jim Ellingson of Minnesota Lake, Minn., and Carsten Quam, Milton Quam, Norman Quam, Dale Quam, Roger Quam and Alfred Quam, all of Decorah; four sisters, Gladys Olson of Mount Sterling, Wis., Ruby D'Oliveira of Antioch, Calif., and Marian Steele and Alice Macha, both of Decorah; and a brother, Arthur Quam of Decorah.
