WillaDean Kaeser, age 81, of Decorah, IA, formerly of Waukon, IA, died on Thursday, January 1, 2015, at the Aase Haugen Senior Services in Decorah, IA.

A memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 9, 2014, at the Aase Haugen Nursing Home, 4 Ohio Street, Decorah, IA, with Rev. Simon Hanson presiding. Burial will be in the Taylorsville Cemetery, Volga, IA.

Friends may call after 1:00 p.m., on Friday at the Aase Haugen Nursing Home. The Schluter – Balik Funeral Home in Decorah is assisting the family.

WillaDean is survived by her two children: Nina (Ron) Taylor, Decorah, IA, and LeRoy (Dee) Nelson, Elkader, IA. Six grandchildren: Elizabeth Peterson, Decorah, IA, Brad Peterson, Marion, IA, and Patrick (Dana) Peterson, Marion, IA, Leah Beaman, Earlville, IA, Nolan Nelson, Postville, IA, Levi (Tina) Nelson, St. Olaf, IA. Three stepchildren: Dave (Karen) Taylor, Tiburon, CA, Steven (Deb) Taylor Norwalk, IA, and Brian (Brenda) Taylor, Decorah, Iowa. Twelve great grandchildren and & seven step grandchildren. One sister, Norma Nelson, Elkader, IA, and one brother-in-law, Ken Lemka, Elkader, IA, and many nieces and nephews and one special niece nicked named “Funny Face”.
