Decorah- Lovena Pierce, 94, of Pine River, Minn., formerly of Decorah, died Saturday, Sept. 6, 2003, in St. Joseph's Hospital, Brainerd, Minn., after a short illness. Memorial services: 2 p.m. Saturday, United Methodist Church, by the Rev. Carl Kress. There will be no visitation. Arrangements with Schluter-Balik Funeral Home, Decorah.

Survivors include a daughter, Ramona Quirk of Breezy Point, Minn., and a son, Bruce of Des Moines.
