Decorah- Carl Lynne Running, 75, died Friday, Sept. 25, 1998, in Gunderson Lutheran Medical Center, La Crosse, Wis., after a short illness. Memorial services: 11 a.m. Saturday, First Lutheran Church. Burial of cremains: Washington Prairie Lutheran Cemetery, rural Decorah. There will be no visitation. His body was cremated. Fjelstul Funeral Home, Decorah, in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include his wife, Loretta; a daughter, Sally Running of Portland, Maine; a son, James of Mundelein, Ill.; and a sister, Katherine Figler of Decorah.
