Services Held For J. M. Anderson

Funeral services for Jeanette M. Anderson, 59, were held Friday, July 31, 1981 at 2:30 p.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church in Castalia. The Rev. H. W. Wolfgram officiated. Schutte Funeral Service of Postville was in charge of arrangements. Burial was in God's Acre Cemetery, Clermont.

Jeanette Marie Anderson, daughter of Frederick and Helena (Schweinefus) Everman, was born December 10, 1921 at Postville, She died July 28, 1981 at Lutheran Hospital, LaCrosse, Wisconsin.

She was baptized and confirmed at the Zion Lutheran Church in Castalia. After graduation from the Postville High School in 1939, she taught in a country school for two years and then at Christian Day School at Boyden, Iowa.

June 8, 1943 she was married to Leslie Anderson at the Zion Lutheran Church. To this union four children were born. They farmed in the Clermont and Castalia area. In 1964 she graduated magna cum laude from Upper Iowa University at Fayette and taught in the Clermont and Postville Schools.

She was a life-time member of the Zion Lutheran Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Surviving are her husband, Leslie; two sons: Lyle of Portland, OR, and Stanley of Hampton, IL; two daughters: Mrs. Roger (Marilyn) Falb of Elgin, and Mrs. Roger (Janice) Torson of Cedar Rapids; eight grandchildren and a brother, Leon Everman of Castalia and a sister, Lois Everman of Doniphan, MO.
